This is an experience where the body walks through ancient deserts, while the soul dives into inner landscapes yet to be explored.

Guided by the wisdom and magic of Vanda, creator of Soma Groove, and by Luís’ passion and deep knowledge of the territory, this retreat is as much an inner journey as a journey through the charms of Morocco.

Over the course of seven days, each stage of this journey will be a fu- sion between the outside world — with its colors, smells, flavors and land- scapes — and the inner world, awak- ened by practices carefully designed to create depth, presence and transformation.

We will cross mountains and gorg- es, rest in date palm oases, get lost in the golden dunes of the Sahara and find ourselves again under starry skies.

Each day, participants will be invited to immerse themselves in practices such as somatic movement, thera- peutic dance, transformational breathwork, bodywork, ecstatic dance, med- itation, rituals, journaling, shadow work and group dynamics, at a pace that respects the territory and the moment.

It is a living journey, where knowl- edge of oneself, of others and of the whole is revealed both in internal en- counters and in external discoveries. Morocco offers the setting:

October 5th | Marrakech - Ourika valley

Fligth to Marrakech. Transfer from Marrakech to Ourika Valley (approx. 45 min.), located at the foot of the Atlas Mountains. Arrival at the Riad/Hotel.

October 6th | Ourika valley

A day to explore the Ourika Valley. The Ourika River, the waterfalls with the same name and the High Atlas Mountains are part of the surrounding area. Opportunity to visit the local market and first meet the Berber people.

October 7th | Ourika valley - Zagora

A day of travel to cross the Atlas Mountains heading south, heading to Zagora, a city located in an oasis of palm and date palm trees at the gates of the Desert. Arrival in the late afternoon at the Riad/Camp.

October 8th | Zagora - Mhamid - Zagora

Day to explore Zagora and Mhamid, the last village before the Sahara Desert, which in the past was an important transit point for camel caravans from Timbuktou, in Mali, which traveled the trans-Saharan trade route.

October 9th | Zagora - Ait ben haddou - Marrakech

Day to head north and visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Cross the Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. Arrival in the late afternoon at the Riad/ Hotel.

October 10th | Marrakech

Free day to explore the city of Marrakech. The Souk (market), the Medina (old city), the famous Jmaa El Fnaa Square, the Majorelle Gardens (former property of Yves Saint Laurent) and the Ben Youssef Madrassa, are some of the places worth visiting in the “Great Red City of the South”. Possibility of having a Hamam and/or a massage in the late afternoon. Dinner with traditional Moroccan music and dances.

October 11th | Marrakech - Home

Return day. Depending on the time of your flight, there may be an opportunity to visit the busy streets of Marrakech once again. Flight back home .

Every day there will be practices such as somatic movement, therapeutic dance, transformational breathwork, ecstatic dance, bodywork, meditation, rituals, journaling, shadow work and group dynamics, which can be done in Portuguese or English, depending on the language of the majority of participants.
